Kathleen M. O’Hanlon, MD, shares some of her healthy habits with us.
What is your go-to healthy breakfast?
Hard-boiled eggs and a homemade “healthy breakfast bread” made with whole wheat, wheat germ, chia seeds, nuts, etc.
What is your favorite type of exercise?
I enjoy hiking in the woods with my Labrador retrievers or using an elliptical machine (if I have to stay indoors).
What keeps you motivated during a workout?
I listen to audible books or watch “The TODAY Show” to help pass the time.
What activities do you do when you can’t fit a full workout in your schedule?
I take short 10-minute walks as often as possible.
What is your favorite healthy snack?
Ice cream (is that “healthy”???)
What hobbies help you relax?
Yoga and tai chi
What is the #1 health tip you live by?
Get a good night’s sleep every night!
