Jessica Kelley, RDH, shares some of her healthy habits with us.
What is your go-to healthy breakfast?
For a healthy breakfast, my go-to meal is two boiled eggs, two slices of turkey bacon and 6 oz. of no-sugar-added grapefruit juice. The grapefruit juice helps jump-start the metabolism.
What is your favorite type of exercise?
I enjoy spinning classes a couple of times per week and high intensity interval training two to three times per week. These classes are both under one hour and burn maximum calories. They’re great for a busy lifestyle!
What keeps you motivated during a workout?
I work out so I can eat and enjoy activities with my daughter.
What activities do you do when you can’t fit a full workout in your schedule?
I like to take my dogs for a walk around our neighborhood or dance with my daughter to her favorite music.
What is your favorite healthy snack?
My favorite snack would have to be apples with a side of peanut butter for protein.
What hobbies help you relax?
I love to read! A good book can take you from reality to anywhere you want to be.
What is the #1 health tip you live by?
Water, water and more water!
