My Before & After: Nano LaserPeel™

I also think that a picture speaks volumes. So, in addition to discussing how our Nano LaserPeel™ from Sciton is a great anti-aging treatment, I’m sharing some of my Before & After photos with you following my recent Nano laser treatment.

About the Nano 

The Nano LaserPeel™ is a great anti-aging treatment that boosts collagen and leaves you with smoother, younger-looking skin after just one treatment. It uses light energy to instantly remove the top layers of the skin at a depth that also accelerates the skin’s own renewal process by activating special messenger proteins.

Microdermabrasion and chemical peels often do not get deep enough. The Nano laser goes into the dermis. Collagen is created by fibroblasts, or specialized skin cells located in the dermis. Fibroblasts also produce other skin structural proteins such as elastin, a protein that gives the skin its ability to snap back.

This service only takes about 15 minutes. So, it can easily be performed on your lunch break or on your way to or from work.

My Nano Experience

I was experiencing breakouts from eating poorly over the holidays, and my skin was getting very dry and dehydrated from the harsh weather. That’s when I decided to have the Nano laser treatment.

My “before” photo on left was taken Dec. 29, 2017. The “after” photo on the right was taken Dec. 31, 2017. The difference is amazing.

Before you ask, I am not wearing makeup in either photo, nor have these photos been edited in any way. I am wearing moisturizer in the post-treatment photo but not in the before. I did not have any injections near my eyes. This is just an example of a great skin care treatment and great products.

My skin was red for the remainder of the day following my treatment. The next day, I looked like I had a tan with some spots still a bit more pronounced, and the third day my skin tone was back to normal.

I experienced a little bit of peeling on the second day, followed by more peeling on the third day. But, the peeling wasn’t noticeable with a good moisturizer. By the fourth day, there was no peeling.

Since I’m being candid, it felt like I had a sunburn for the first 15-20 minutes post-treatment. The treatment did not hurt, but certain areas of my face were slightly more sensitive. This was very tolerable, though, and the mild discomfort was definitely worth it for the results.

My pores are now a lot tighter, and I was so happy to see many of my blackheads were removed during my treatment. The remaining blackheads were very easily extracted. So, if you have clogged pores this is great treatment option, but I would also encourage a deep pore cleansing facial about 1-2 weeks after your Nano treatment to extract any remaining blackheads.
